I have enjoyed blogging for my Intro to Public Relations class this year. As a public relations major I love writing and expressing myself in a journalistic way, and I will continue to blog once this semester ends.

In addition to expressing my thoughts on various topics I enjoyed researching and finding sources on the topics I wrote about. As I researched, I learned how to keep an open mind by reading opposing views of each topic.

Just as a blogger in general it feels good to know you have a voice and to know someone, somewhere is possibly reading your posts. After this semester ends my blogs will become more opinionated and more similar to feature articles. I will try to keep relating my topics to public relations, and to keep my readers updated with how I will work toward my PR aspirations.

I hope to one day make this blog into a personal website and start posting pictures, videos, and possibly podcasts. My blog is already viewed recreationally by my twitter followers and facebook friends. One day I hope this blog will be a place where employerscan  come to review my work and writing skills. One benefit of having a personal blog is “brand promotion”. As a way to promote my brand as a furute PR specialist I will use this blog for that purpose. Also, in the future I plan to advertise my blog more so I can have more subscribers and followers.

“A blog is a type of website or part of a website supposed to be updated with new content from time to time”. I will try to frequently update my posts and keep up with current events as much as possible. I hope you continue to read my posts!

Thank You
